Here we are, our final novel. As we move through this memoir, I would like to try to make the blog more transparent. I would like to create posts for each of our readings. I will create a post and I would like you to comment on each of these posts. Good luck to us all, and I hope you enjoy this last piece.

This first chapter was not too bad. It was slow at times, but the parts about the shootings shocked me. The fact that a bullet was seen half-way in a baby's body was sad. The narrator seemed rather calm while describing his experiences. It is sad to read about how his life is constantly in danger and that he lives in fear every day.
